Robin
A. Bell, Photographer
Robin Bell is a self-taught photographer who currently
lives in Thibodaux, Louisiana, with her two youngest
children. Her formative years were spent in
Australia, England, and Scotland before returning to the
United States to attend university. Robin
graduated from LSU Baton Rouge in 1991 with a degree in
Psychology. In 2001, she obtained a specialist
degree in Psychology from Nicholls State University.
She currently works as a school psychologist in
Assumption Parish.
In March of 2005, Full
Bucket Photography was conceived and developed by Robin
and her friend and colleague, Jennie Alexandry.
Their photographic work is centered in the rich culture
of Louisiana, its "down the bayou" critters and dog
portraiture.
Robin's current project
focuses on capturing New Orleans restaurants and bars
using her beloved canine subjects as unique culinary and
cocktail guides on location. In essence, this
collection of classic photographs capture the beauty of
the architecture, the mystique of the cocktail and the
spirit of old New Orleans all served with a canine
twist.

Jennie T. Alexandry, Creative Director
Jennie was born and raised in Thibodaux, LA where she
currently resides with 3 dogs and 3 cats; one canine of
which is the original Lounge Hound. She is a life
long musician, psychologist, and now business partner in
Full Bucket Photography.
In 2001, Jennie moved to New York City, where she was
hired as a Cajun food specialty chef at two
restaurants. Her specialties included jambalaya,
seafood gumbo, crawfish pies, and Oysters Bayou
Lafourche. During her stay in Brooklyn she
incorporated a praline business named Jennie's Pecan
Pralines. Those "Down the Bayou Delights"
were sold at local Brooklyn eateries.
She is currently working on her first book titled
Swamp Dog; a story about a lost dog, a lost man, a
tragic hurricane, and the healing power of a magical
swamp and its creatures. |
